We rescued this little guy from the middle of the road today, his name is Harry and he is a hedgehog. Temporarily residing with us before returning to the wild.

After yesterdays frustrating delivery I decided that it would be best to grab a small pot of gesso to apply the first coat whilst waiting for the litre of white, which should arrive next week. It’s definitely looking great and once the final coats of gesso are applied and I give it a good sanding it will be ready for the oils. I’ll continue to post my progress with it here.

I made this card, made up with his toys and gadgets in mind, well before my Dad’s birthday on the 20th of Jan, but didn’t want to post it before it arrived in Australia. So here’s a belated happy birthday!

Stoked that my oils finally arrived today buuuuuuut not so stoked on being sent one litre of BLACK gesso rather than white…… &$%#@!!!!!!!!

Still waiting for paints to arrive for the linen I stretched yesterday. So I started on this A2 piece today with the intention of finishing it with watercolour and ink, however I decided to use pencils as its been a little while since I’ve done a large piece in graphite. Will post again when it’s done.
